God has pushed the pause button on my life, for now.
This morning, these words came to mind, so I jotted them down:
A SPACE FOR GOD’S GRACE
Being tossed, to and fro,
Ne’er a moment to call one’s own,
Up and down, no control,
Until the moment you are thrown
With unabandoned haste,
O’er the fence to a quiet place,
(Lost to the world, for now)
With God’s own hand and loving grace.
His Providence provides
A time for rest, a space for peace,
Renew my wavering soul,
O God, and cause my fears to cease.
God takes me by the hand,
(He reaches down as I reach up)
We’ll walk this path as one,
His grace will always be enough.
