Group Learn and Share Time

We’ve been doing something new in our family that has been working really well. I call it Group Learn & Share Time.

Each day I select four books from our home library.

My children and I each select one of the books and spend 10-15 minutes learning about something in the book that interests us.

We sketch and take notes in our art notebooks, if we’d like.

Then we take turns sharing with each other what we learned.

If there is time, we exchange books and do it again.

In just short spurts of time, we are able to learn and share many new and exciting discoveries. It’s been a lot of fun for us! This activity is in addition to our other regular learning activities and lessons.

The pictures below are from today’s Learn & Share Time. I’m so excited about all the things I learned!
